A pickleball scoring app for referees and scorekeepers

Score a pickleball match on your phone with one tap on the court. It calls the score, works with no signal, and shows you how the match went afterwards.

Score a match, free How scoring works

One tap is the whole record

Tap the spot where the ball died. rallyxrally works out who won the rally and records where, so the score and the analysis come from the same tap. There is no second step to get through, and no box to confirm.

The scoring screen on a phone on its side: the court with the ball marked where it landed, the score at the top right, and the controls on the right.
The court after two points.

The score, as the referee calls it

The score is shown in the form it is spoken, such as 2-0-2: the serving side's points, the receiving side's points, then the server number in doubles. Tap it to hear it spoken, or let it read the score before each serve. How scoring works.

Works with no signal

A court with bad wifi is the normal case. A whole match is scored on the phone without a connection, and sent when there is one. At an event the match goes to the desk as you score it.

Score only, or go as deep as you can

ModeWhat you record
ScoreboardWhich side won the rally, and nothing else.
ChartingWhere each rally ended. Who hit it, and how, can be added afterwards in Review.
Full chartingWhere it ended, then who hit it and the shot, after each point.

Every point is a complete record at every depth. A smaller record is not a worse one. The three depths.

Faults, time-outs, undo

Press a fault's button, then tap. Time-outs and technical warnings are recorded, with a one-minute clock for a time-out. Undo takes back the last thing at once, so a mistap costs nothing.

See how it went

When the match ends, rallyxrally shows where every rally ended with winners and errors by player, the longest run and who held serve, and a point-by-point scoresheet to send, print or take away as a CSV.

How it went on a phone: a court with a dot where every rally ended, winners in green and errors in red, and a column for each player.
The analysis of a sample match, with invented players.

Every match says how it was recorded. A map drawn from taps that were only counting a score off paper would show where a finger went, not where a ball did. So the match says how it arrived, and rallyxrally draws only what it can stand behind. Reading how it went.

Install it like an app

Open the link and add it to your home screen: on an iPhone, tap Share then Add to Home Screen; on Android, use Install when Chrome offers it. There is nothing to download from a store, and it keeps working with no signal.

What it is not

rallyxrally records what you call. It does not decide whether a ball was in or a serve was legal, and it does not claim to be accredited. The scoring rules it implements are tested against the USA Pickleball 2025 Official Rulebook. Wheelchair play is not modeled.

Running a tournament?

Referees at an event use the same screen with a code from the organizer, and the desk sees every result. See pickleball tournament software.
